SAILING YACHT – 30 METERS

For the S/Y Onix, a sailing yacht built by the Baltic Yachts shipyards, we carried out work over a period of three months at STP, in Palma de Mallorca.

The work consisted, first of all, of the complete dismantling of all the pipe systems, accessories and more, to subsequently rebuild, connect and assemble all the pieces and parts again, leaving them in perfect working order. Finally, all the areas and sections where the work was carried out were cleaned.

Disassembly of:

  • Piping systems.
  • UV lamp filters and accessories.
  • Split air conditioning system in the captain's cabin and pipe cleaning.
  • Shower siphons and black and grey water pipes in the crew bathroom.
  • Sinks and valve clips.
  • Separators in the engine room and cleaning of the 4 engine and generator silencers.
  • Freshwater system.
  • Generator exhaust system.
  • Ventilation systems with flexible pipes and batteries.
  • Engine, kitchen and extractor pipes.
  • WC and cleaning pipes in guest cabins.
  • Piping system in bow and stern bathrooms.
  • Bilge pump, expansion vessel and drain pipes in the stern (master and guest cabin).

Assembly and cleaning of:

  • Greywater pipe system: All drains were cleaned and the 20mm diameter pipe system was replaced.
  • Cleaning of 125mm diameter stainless steel pipe.
  • Replacement of 40mm and 30mm diameter Vetus pipes on starboard (black water filter).
  • Saltwater piping system with main filters and flexible pipes.
  • Cleaning the stern black water system.
  • Kitchen greywater system and 3-way valves - complete flexible pipe replacement.
  • Piped drains in master and guest cabin.
  • Siphons in the guest cabin.
  • 5 separators (2 motors – 2 generators + 1 motor).
  • Cold water collectors in the guest cabin.
  • Guest cabin bilge suction assembly and pipe replacement.
  • Manual bilge pump.
  • Water collectors in the guest cabin and through-hulls under the sofa.
  • Installation of an air conditioning expansion vessel in the engine room.
  • Main water pressure group with pump change.
  • Saltwater piping system with main filters and flexible pipes.

Additional works:

  • Installation of 125mm diameter ventilation pipes in the main and guest cabin.
  • Work on roof drains.
  • Installation of water collectors and water treatment pump.
  • Modifications to the PPR pipe line in the engine room.

Finally, the final adjustments and checks of all the work were carried out to ensure its correct operation.
